Brightr Refer A Friend Program - Terms and Conditions


1. How to Qualify for a Reward

1.1 Eligibility

  • A “Referred Friend” is defined as someone who resides at a separate address from the Referrer. Referrals from the same household are not eligible
  • Employees, contractors, and agents of Brightr, are not eligible to participate.


1.2 To qualify, the Referrer must submit the details of a person (“Referred Friend”) who; 

  • is not already recorded in Brightr’s system as a current customer, lead, or previous referral; and 
  • is genuinely interested in Brightr’s services and has given the Referrer permission to share their contact details with Brightr.

1.3 A referral is considered successful when;

  • Brightr has been able to contact and arrange a free in-home assessment with the the Referred Friend, 
  • The Referred friend’s job has been completed by Brightr (for example, an insulation or heat pump installation is completed) 

1.4 Once the referral has been verified and meets all conditions, the Referrer will receive a $150 Prezzy Card (“Reward”).


2. Reward Details

2.1 Each valid referral that results in a completed install qualifies for one $150 Prezzy Card.

2.2 Rewards are issued to the Referrer within 30 days of the qualifying installation being completed and verified.

2.3 Rewards are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

2.4 Brightr accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen Prezzy Cards once issued.


3. Referral Limits

3.1 There is no limit to the number of people a Referrer can refer, provided each referral meets the eligibility criteria.

3.2 Duplicate referrals for the same person will be accepted only from the first Referrer who submits that person’s details.


4. Privacy and Consent

4.1 By submitting a referral, the Referrer confirms that the Referred Friend has agreed to be contacted by Brightr and that their contact details can be shared for this purpose.

4.2 Personal information collected as part of this Promotion will be handled in accordance with Brightr’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.brightr.co.nz/privacy-policy

4.3 Information will be used only for administering the Promotion and related Brightr services.


5. Update and Notification

5.1 Brightr will provide the Referrer with updates on whether the referral has been successful

5.2 Updates will be sent to the Referrer's email address as specified by the Referrer in the submitted form

5.3 The Referrer may email Brightr requesting an update on the Referral made. Emails are to be sent to info@brightr.co.nz

5.4 Brightr will not enter into any conversation or detail as to the reason a Referred Friend has not qualified, The Referrer will only be advised if the Referral is still active.  


5. General Conditions

5.1 Brightr reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any Referrer or Referred Friend and to withhold or cancel any Reward in cases of suspected fraud, misrepresentation, or breach of these Terms and Conditions.

5.2 Brightr may amend, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time without prior notice.

5.3 Decisions made by Brightr regarding eligibility, qualification, or Reward issuance are final and binding.

5.4 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
